At Asset College, the Provide First Aid course is online plus a 6 hour workshop in class. Completion of your online study is required prior to attending your workshop. This is because the first aid course covers so many different aspects and it is important that students have an understanding of the concepts before attending the course day which is largely practical.
It is recommended that this course is completed once every 3 years.
HLTAID014 Provide Advanced First Aid
This Advanced First Aid course is your next step up from the standard First Aid training. It includes advanced first aid techniques that are usually required by people who work closely with children or in high-risk industries such as security.
The Advanced First Aid course at Asset College on the Gold Coast can be completed online followed by a 1 day face ot face workshop. Should you already have a current HLTAID011 Provide First Aid certificate than this would reduce your face to face workshop time. You can discuss this with us on enrolment.
As this course is also full of content, we require students to complete pre-reading and course material prior to attending so that you have the background knowledge required to participate in the day which again is largely practical.
