A DIDO Security Officer Position Was Secured!

Terri-Ann Bowden found Asset College on Google. It’s amazing what a simple google search can do to change someones life forever!
She was looking for a security training provider who could offer her something a little more than the rest and on reading the many great reviews on ASSET online she decided this was the best choice for her!
‘I ended up driving down from Gladstone just to complete the course with ASSET!’
Prior to entering a career in security, Terri-Ann was a stay at home mum. She had been studying a nursing degree but was unable to complete when she started a family. She was determined to have a career for herself and needed to start with the certificate!
Terri-Ann says that what she loved most about her training with ASSET was the trainer, Lynn Meecham.
‘Lynn was able to break everything down and explained everything. She is a very patient trainer. She made sure we could all understand what she was teaching us and could speak about her own experience working as a Security Guard herself. She made it all a breeze.’
On completing her course with Asset College, Terri-Ann jumped straight into the process of gaining her licence and applying for her first role!
It was this first job application that ultimately landed her a DIDO Security Officer position! She works at a campsite at Dysart patrolling 7 days on, 7 days off and is loving every minute of it.
Terri-Ann now wants to further her knowledge and career in the security industry through training. She says, this will ONLY be with ASSET. Eventually Terri-Ann wants to work as an Aviation Protection Officer or enter the airforce.
‘I love everything about security and I am optn to anything really! I just want to say that I appreciate Lynn so much. She was so professional and helpful, she really made me feel comfortable and I really enjoyed my time with ASSET.’
