BSBSS00094 Cyber Security Awareness Skill Set
In this skill set you will study four units. The units cover:
- Protecting your own personal online profile from threats
- How to identify and report online security threats
- Securely managing personally identifiable information, as well as that of your workplace
- Promoting and engaging others in the workplace to be cyber secure
The great thing about skill sets is that you can then use the units of competency that you have achieved as credit transfers towards full nationally recognised qualifications. So long as the training package allows it!
Full qualifications in cyber security
If you’re ready to take the leap into a nationally recognised qualification in its entirety, the best option for you is starting at the Certificate IV level.
While there are no formal pre-requisite requirements for courses in cyber security, prior IT and/or networking experience would be advantageous.
